Rick
A Craft Syndicate Pioneer Mentoring the Next Generation of Hip-Hop Stars.
Grammy-nominated artist Rick Ross was involved with Craft Syndicate for several years, serving as a mentor to numerous up-and-coming artists. Ross's association with Craft Syndicate began in 2014, when he appeared in a video shoot with Nipsey Hussle and Zaytoven. Ross and Hussle were both mentors, and they helped up-and-coming artists develop their skills and careers. They worked with Zaytoven to produce a track called "Craft Syndicate."
Ross is a passionate advocate for mentorship, and he believes that it is essential for young artists to have access to guidance and support. He is also a strong believer in the power of community, and he often speaks about the importance of building relationships with other artists and entrepreneurs.
Ross was also featured in a series of oil paintings for the Craft Syndicate program. The paintings featured portraits of famous hip-hop artists, including Biggie, Tupac, Jay-Z, and Rick Ross himself. The paintings were inspired by the work of Frans Hals, a Dutch Golden Age painter.
Ross's work with Craft Syndicate helped to give a platform to a multitude of talented artists, and to raise awareness of the importance of mentorship in the hip-hop community. He is a true asset to the program, and his work will continue to have a positive impact on the lives of young artists for years to come.
In 2016, Ross produced a reality TV show called "Dutch Masters: Sisterhood of Hip Hop" which followed five female rappers as they pursued their careers. The rappers were Nyemiah Supreme, Diamond, Bia, Siya, and Brianna Perry. The show was produced by Ross's Maybach Music Group and aired on the BET network.
